Can't sleep!

For the past few weeks it has been a struggle to fall asleep and stay asleep. I don't know if many of you suffer with the same problem however if you do it's annoying. I find myself lying in bed thinking of my day, my day yet to come, and what to do to fall asleep. Other nights I organize my music, search for music or sit and creep on facebook. I sound so lame but there is nothing to do at one in the morning. I literally get out of bed and walk around my house until I feel my legs give out. I would like to sleep but I physically can't. To give me a greater sleep problem Rachel, (the one who gave birth to me) brought home a brand new coffee maker! Coffee is probably my life. I've been drinking it for a long time so you can imagine just how ecstatic I was that she brought one home. This my followers, was not a normal coffee maker. No this coffee maker can make a huge cup of coffee in less then 20 seconds! All you have to do is: well first make sure you have water in the thingy and then pick out which coffee you want. Put that in the little slot and close, push a button and TA DA! The coffee pours straight into your mug.
I have had about 5 Chi Teas already. I was so bored I decided to mix hot coco mix into it which made what I like to call Chocolate chi tea.Yes it's a unique name, I know. It was truly spectacular! Sweet while giving me the satisfaction of the original taste. Having this new coffee maker is probably making my sleeping problem worse instead of better. I realize this after I crash and have to wake up 2 hours later for school. It's becoming a problem yet, I do nothing about it. This probably proves the point in Dykstra's class of how lazy teens are but what is a girl suppose to do? This is my greatest challenge!

  1. Amanda, Amanda, Amanda. I must admit, that coffee is an addiction of mine too. You need to realize when to have it, not at night! Try, early in the morning, wake up a little earlier than normal and you can have up to about 4 cups of coffee, and than after school you can have more. Stop by 7 or 8 and you should be fine (:

  2. Hahaha! Oh my gosh, I never knew you were a coffee addict! Although it does explain a lot... Anyway I must agree with the whole sleeping thing. It's hard to just lay in bed and fall asleep. I always have so much on my mind; I can never just stop thinking about stuff. I agree with Mallory. You should probably stop drinking coffee at night and just drink it in the morning. It might help your sleeping problems and make Rachel feel better that your not walking around at 1:00am.

  3. Amanda dude, I haven't slept since nam. I have insonnia so i never sleep. It is a problem and I feel your pain. I think what might also help you is if you didn't get up at the buttcrack of dawn. When I talk to you you always get up so dang early. And did you know you have to drink a ton of water to dilute the coffee out of your body for one cup. Letalone three or four! Crazy girl. And tea has aleast 4X as much caffine in it as coffee. I think that is the correct number anyways.

  4. Amanda i know what you mean when tou can't sleep. Sometimes I lay in my bed just trying to get to sleep and then my mind wonders. Then I am thinking about basketball or what I'm going to do tomorrow during school, after school and what i have to get done tomorrow. I have never had coffee and from this blog being sleep deprived doesn't sound fun so I don't think i will start drinking coffee any time soon.
